Update to 2.6.8.1 on iPad impossible > Update: SOLVED

Hello there!

I'm using MapPlus in full version on two devices:

iPhone SE (iOS 10.3.3) and
iPad Pro 9,7" (iOS 11.0.1)

Until yesterday I used the latest version of MapPlus 2.6.7.1 on both devices, iPhone and iPad Pro.

Some days ago my iPhone showed me in the App store's update section that there is a new version of MapPlus (2.6.8.1), so I did the update and was happy with the approvements. Yesterday I tried to update the iPad Pro to 2.6.8.1, but there is no update shown in the App store's update section and I couldn't find a way to get the 2.8.6.1 on my iPad also. I turned the iPad off and on, started and closed the app - no way to the update 2.8.6.1.

So here is my question: How can I update from MapPlus 2.6.7.1 to 2.6.8.1 on my iPad Pro?

The app is a universal app which means it supports both iPad and iPhone with one(same) binary. And there is no setting to only allow some devices supported, while others not, so your issue is wired.

Then, we've tested our 12.9" iPad Pro (iOS 11.1 beta) on App Store, China, which seems OK, the v2.6.8 is available there.

So this may be because of an Apple's issue, maybe you need to wait for 1~2 days. or force quit and restart the App Store.app of Apple to get a refresh.

Or please contact Apple's support team of your local app store to get more detailed support.

Hello Zax,

this morning my iPad lately offered the update to 2.6.8.1 - with a delay of several days.
The Update itself was easily done and everything works great.

I didn't change any preset in iOS and have no idea what could have caused this delay in the iPad's App Store - app.

Next time I simply should be more patient and wait for some days :-)
